(More customer reviews)We purchased this item based on the cute bears and the fact it fit our color scheme. I expected it to work just fine, but it is a TOTAL FAILURE regarding the mounting system. It's just a big hard plastic thumb screw that is so poorly designed. 1) It is too small for the spacing of our cribs slats, however I can let that slide as it's tough to design a product to fit all cribs. 2) But the big problem is that it scratches the sh*! out of your crib. I just got our new crib delivered today, started to install the mobile and was hesitant due to the initial look of the mounting system. It instantly left huge scratches on the crib.
Is it cute, oh hell yes! Does it install well, oh hell no! I'm not sure if the other mobiles mount in the same way from other manufacturers but I will be sending this one back or find a way to modify it to work.
